Optional and compulsory modules will allow you to examine the mechanisms of the brain, childhood development, how mental illnesses have historically been conceptualised and treated, the history of psychology, and the philosophical question of what the relationship is between the mind and the brain. You’ll also be able to study a broader range of topics in philosophy and the history of science.
