The Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at Southern Cross University is designed for individuals passionate about sport, performance, and human health. This degree equips students with the scientific knowledge and practical skills to pursue a range of careers in sport, exercise, and health promotion.Students will explore core areas such as human movement, biomechanics, exercise physiology, motor control, sport and exercise psychology, coaching, and exercise prescription. The program offers the flexibility to specialise in one of three key areas: business management, physical education, or strength, conditioning and coaching, allowing students to tailor their studies to their career aspirations.Graduates are well-prepared for careers across the sport and health sectors, including roles in performance testing, coaching, sports psychology, nutrition, health promotion, and education.Additionally, the degree provides a pathway to the Master of Teaching, which can prepare graduates to become PDHPE teachers in secondary schools.
