It's an exciting time to be involved in the fields of sport and Physical Education. Recent global events such as Covid 19 and the subsequent lockdowns have shown us the importance of a holistic approach towards physical activity as a vehicle for health and wellbeing.<br>Our course reflects this with its inclusive approach to sport and PE and where better to study the subject in depth than in London's Olympic heartland.You will explore ways of encouraging as many people as possible to engage in sport and physical activity and be supported in this by our teaching team who have expertise in policy, adapted physical activity, PE and sports development.<br>You will also have the opportunity to work with our range of partners including local schools and national organisations such as Panathlon.<br>We will ensure you're ready to deliver PE in a range of settings or work in the community to improve people's lives, both during your degree and in your subsequent career.<br>You'll learn through a mixture of theory and applied practice, based at SportsDock. This superb facility at our Docklands campus symbolises the ambition and quality of all our sports courses. It's so good that Team USA chose it as their training base to prepare for the 2012 London Olympics and Paralympics.<br>Our sports courses have rapidly built up a reputation for producing independent self-starters. The feedback we receive from our work placement clients is invariably positive. Employers want UEL sports graduates. First of all, we've been producing terrific PE teachers for years.
