With a BABCom conjoint you can combine your core courses in business and enterprise with a wide range of subjects in the humanities, social sciences, cultures and languages. You can develop skills that are essential for adapting and thriving in a fast-changing, globalised economy. You will be able to use your knowledge and skills in many different careers and employment settings. The BABCom usually takes four years to complete. You can choose up to two subjects as your major(s) for the BA component of your conjoint, and would normally take four or five BA courses each year. You can also choose to take up to two modules There are seven compulsory Stage I courses for the BCom component of your conjoint, after which you can focus on your chosen major(s). A BABCom conjoint study can help you to develop strong capabilities for many careers, including advanced communication skills, critical and creative thinking, the ability to research and evaluate information, the ability to analyse problems and seek solutions, adaptability, and an awareness of different perspectives. You will be well-positioned to pursue new opportunities opened up by changes and developments in society, technology and business.<br><br>With a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Asian Studies you can choose from a wide range of courses on film, literature, politics, history, popular culture, philosophy, geography, economics and anthropology. Some courses focus on a particular part of Asia and other courses offer pan-Asian perspectives. We also encourage you to take advantage of exchange opportunities to live and study in Asian countries. You can take a major in Asian Studies as one of your two BA majors (a double major). You will need to pass at least 120 points (eight courses) towards each of your majors, including at least 45 points (three courses) at Stage III.
