This course develops connections between critical study of English Literature and the creative practice of writing in a variety of forms. You will learn to approach texts as both a reader and a writer, discovering synergies between these different perspectives. You will study a broad range of English literature while developing your practical skills, confidence and independent vision as a creative writer. This course offers the chance to develop skills in critical analysis and imaginative problem solving that are relevant to a range of career paths.<br>Taught by experts in the field of English Literary study, alongside experienced novelists and poets, a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from Bangor University will enable you to increase your understanding of literature, whilst also helping you to hone you own creative voice as a writer. Our students also embark on postgraduate study and training in English Literature, Creative Writing, and related disciplines, so as to train as researchers and lecturers in higher education.
