One of the most exciting developments in our new curriculum is around your ability to study two degrees at once.<br><br>In this double degree, you will be able to combine:<br><br> Master of International Relations: Through engagement with innovative approaches and thinking, this course will empower you to comprehend and evaluate contemporary regional and global developments, and will equip you for an international career in diplomacy, journalism,the NGO sector, international business or academia.<br> Master of Translation and Interpreting Studies: If you're proficient in more than one language, this course will provide you with the skills and knowledge you'll require to perform translation and interpreting in a range of institutional settings common to community and commercial translation and interpreting practice in Australia and overseas.<br><br>Key Features<br><br> Double degrees fast-track your study – you usually complete double degrees one or even two years faster than you would undertaking both degrees on their own. This not only saves you time but money as well. <br> You'll learn from experts in the fields of Asian, European, American, African, Australian and Middle Eastern studies. <br> You'll develop key skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, research and writing, and oral communication. <br> You'll acquire theoretical knowledge alongside the practical skills relevant to translating and interpreting practice. <br> You'll undertake extensive targeted practice in both translation and interpreting, as well as specialisations in both fields. <br> You may be eligible to undertake an internship in an approved institution. You'll undertake a research component under specialised individual supervision.
