Broaden your global perspective with our BA International Relations with Spanish. Immerse yourself in diplomacy and politics, sharpen your Spanish, and experience transformative experiences-boosting your employability and global career prospects. Prepare for a professional career beyond borders. Studying with us, you'll gain in-demand skills in diplomacy, politics and Spanish language fluency, readying you for exciting international roles. A year abroad and practical experiences, like Model NATO, will also further increase your employability, empowering you to lead and shape solutions on the global stage. Combining advanced language skills with global affairs, our International Relations with Spanish BA offers an interdisciplinary approach that makes you a versatile asset to organisations. You'll spend a year abroad, immerse yourself in Spanish-speaking culture, and return to complete an independent dissertation. With opportunities to explore global issues, develop critical thinking, and engage in real-world experiences like Model NATO, this course prepares you for a successful international career. You'll also have the opportunity to tailor the learning to your interests and aspirations thanks to a wide range of optional modules. Each module is assessed independently, and all modules contain some components of continuous assessment (that means assessment taking place during the teaching terms). Some modules are assessed entirely through coursework, without an end-of-year examination. At the beginning of each module, you'll be given information on how and when you'll be assessed for that module. You'll receive feedback on each assessment within three weeks, so that you can learn from and build on what you have done, including written feedback on your assessments, class feedback, and questions sessions and discussions with your tutor. When exams are included in a module, you’ll have access to marking criteria, and mock exam and marking sessions allow you to get a sense of what to aim for.
