In a rapidly changing world, understanding both global politics and economics is more essential than ever. Develop in-depth knowledge of diplomacy, international affairs, and economic systems to thrive in this complex, rewarding field. With unique research internships, professional development opportunities, and experiences like the Model NATO conference, you’ll gain the skills to lead in an interconnected world. Build the expertise to influence policy and drive change on the world stage. Prepare your successful future with our International Relations with Economics course by honing your analytical skills and deepening your understanding of global issues. Our International Relations with Economics BA offers a unique blend of political science and economics with a global perspective. With flexible module options, expert-led research opportunities, and the chance to participate in prestigious events like Model NATO in Washington DC, London, and Lisbon, you’ll gain hands-on experience in diplomacy and international decision-making with a specialised knowledge of international economics. This interdisciplinary approach equips you with the skills to excel in a wide range of careers. Tailor your studies and develop practical expertise to thrive in today’s interconnected world. Each module is assessed independently, and all modules contain some components of continuous assessment (that means assessment taking place during the teaching terms). Some modules are assessed entirely through coursework, without an end-of-year examination. At the beginning of each module, you'll be given information on how and when you'll be assessed for that module. You'll receive feedback on each assessment within three weeks, so that you can learn from and build on what you have done, including written feedback on your assessments, class feedback, and questions sessions and discussions with your tutor. When exams are included in a module, you’ll have access to marking criteria, and mock exam and marking sessions allow you to get a sense of what to aim for.
