Our Art and Design B.F.A will challenge you to strengthen your creative voice as designer or professional artist and to hone your visual-material problem solving. In the Art and Design program, you will build professional, adaptable skills that will propel you into innovative careers. You will focus on developing your ideas and techniques with intensive faculty instruction, hands-on practice in the studio, and with real-world clients and service learning. You will become a strong, marketable visual thinker with opportunities in a wide variety of creative disciplines.<br><br>As a B.F.A. student in Studio Art and Design, you will get a strong foundation in art and design practices before focusing on one of the areas of emphasis: Painting, Graphic Design, Sculpture, Printmaking, Interaction Design, or Experience Design, Ceramics, or Drawing. The program features a year-long Senior Studio and exhibition of your personal work your final semester.
