To apply for admission to Seattle Colleges, international students must submit an online application, which includes completing a questionnaire, uploading all necessary documents. Depending on your applicant type, you may need to provide different documents and/or information with your application. You must also send all required documents by the deadline and be at least 16 years old by the first day of classes. Documents will be uploaded with the online application. Students who will still be underage (16 or 17) by the start of classes must provide a copy of their high school transcripts or a copy of their high school diploma. Proof of English proficiency is not required for admission to Seattle Colleges. However, if you want to skip the English placement test, you can provide proof of English proficiency in advance.
TOEFL iBT - 64, Writing 17
IELTS - 6.0, Writing 5.0
SAT - 510 in Reading and Writing
ACT - 19 for both English and Reading
TOEFL PBT - 507, Writing 4.0
U.S. high school graduation with GPA of at least 2.0

The Associate of Arts Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA) degree is a 90-credit transfer degree that provides a broad liberal arts education for students intending to transfer to a four-year university or college and pursue a baccalaureate degree in major areas such as humanities, literature, political science, psychology or sociology. To earn the AA degree, students must complete coursework in English composition, quantitative/symbolic reasoning, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and several electives.<br><br>Benefits<br>The AA degree allows students to fulfill some or all of the general education requirements and prerequisite coursework for many four-year degrees in the arts and humanities. Most baccalaureate institutions require completion of this degree prior to admission in order to receive the benefits of the Direct Transfer Agreement.<br><br>Learning Outcomes<br>• Have college-level knowledge and skills in critical thinking, quantitative analysis, and written composition.<br>• Have college-level mastery of information literacy and technology literacy.<br>• Have effective skills for in-person and media-based interactions with individuals and within groups.
