For full admission, Truman must receive an official or certified copy of your transcripts from each school you have previously attended. This includes high schools, secondary schools, and universities. Submit Official English Proficiency Scores: Truman requires a minimum overall score of:
• 79 for TOEFL (iBT)
• 6.0 for IELTS , TOEFL (550 or above on the paper-based TOEFL)
If you're eligible for our TruMerit Scholarship – determined by a combination of ACT/SAT score and GPA – or are applying with at least a 27 ACT/1260 SAT and 2.5 GPA, you are automatically admitted to the University when you submit your application, transcript, and verified test scores

Work with metal (foundry and welding), wood, plaster, and plastics media to produce sculpture of all types and scale. The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is the initial professional degree in art. The primary emphasis of the degree is to develop skills, concepts, and sensitivities essential to the professional artist. Successful candidates for this degree must function as practitioners who exhibit both technical competence and a broad knowledge of art and art history, sensitivity to artistic style, and an insight into the role of art and design in the life of humankind. Evidence of these characteristics and potential for their continuing development is essential for the awarding of the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
