国际学生入学条件
To meet our minimum requirements for admission to any of our undergraduate programs, you need to have graduated from grade 12 secondary school, have a minimum overall grade point average of 2.5 (C+ or 67%), and have completed 5 grade 12 subjects from the selection of BC Ministry approved courses below (or their equivalents if you completed school internationally or in a province other than British Columbia):
English Studies 12 with a minimum grade of 'C'
Accepted Language Arts subjects
Two other grade 12 academic courses
Mathematics courses
Science
Social Studies
Languages
Two grade 12 elective courses
All elective courses must be grade 12 and can be Ministry Approved, Board Approved or locally developed.
Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies
Arts Education
International Baccalaureate (IB)
3 Higher Level and 3 Standard Level subjects. A minimum requirement of 24 points is recommended to be considered for admission.
Other international applicants
Completion of the highest level of secondary education available in your home country, in a program leading directly to university entrance. You require at least a C+ (67) average in the five courses that most closely match the British Columbia requirements.
Accepted English Language Proficiency Tests
TOEFL - Minimum of 84 out of 120 total points including a minimum score in each of the four skills, Speaking 20/30, Reading 20/30, Writing 18/30, and Listening 20/30.
IELTS - Minimum band 6.5, with no component less than 6.0

Our unique Sculpture Expanded Practices program encompasses traditional methods for producing sculpture, including wood, metal, and mould-making, as well as textiles and soft sculpture, such as weaving, sewing, and embroidery.<br><br>Not only that, but it also offers students unparalleled opportunities to learn digital fabrication and work with cutting-edge technologies. Embracing visual art alongside video, sound, interactivity, and performance, our program pushes and challenges the limits of how to approach sculpture as a material practice. Interdisciplinary, experimental, and progressive, Sculpture Expanded Practices is for visual artists and spatial thinkers who want to work with their hands across sculptures, installations, public art, and more.<br><br>Through your studio-led courses, taught by leading visual artists, you'll gain essential technical grounding in wood, metal, mould-making and casting, flexible materials, textiles soft sculpture, and digital fabrication. From site-specific work to constructed objects, you'll experiment with both traditional and non-traditional media, including video, digital media, and kinetics. As your studies progress, you'll have the flexibility to take more advanced courses in the areas of your choice. <br><br>Through your courses, led by renowned artists, you'll not only learn and hone your skills, but you'll also be able to situate your own practice in relation to social themes, communities, and contemporary styles. Upon graduation, you'll have produced an impressive body of work that will prepare you for professional roles in the arts.
