国际学生入学条件

International students must have all transcripts officially translated into English. Both the unofficial and the English translated version must be submitted. Students with a three-year bachelors degree from another country are required to submit a World Education Services (WES). Two letters of recommendation from employers, professors, or others able to judge your potential for graduate study in your specific program. Successful applicants will demonstrate abilities with observation, description, analysis, and critical thinking/reasoning. Applicants should address their potential to complete coursework successfully and to design, research, and write a graduate thesis in a particular field of the History of Art and Design. TOEFL Score of 100 (Internet), or IETLS of 7.5 or PTE of 68 is required. Graduate Record Exam (GRE) is also required.

课程简介

The dual-degree program allows students to concurrently earn two post-baccalaureate degrees: M.A. in the History of Art and Design and the M.F.A. in Fine Arts. HISTORY OF ART AND DESIGN: Graduate studies in the History of Art and Design department provide students with the skills and knowledge to pursue careers as instructors, art and design historians and professionals in museums, galleries, and libraries, or to pursue graduate work at the doctorate level. Through comprehensive study of global art and design within historical and cultural contexts and intensive research and scholarship in specialized areas, students develop a critical understanding of the field as well as research and analytic skills. Graduates demonstrate excellence in independent and critical thinking and understanding of the historical roles and responsibilities of art and design.
