As a graphic design student, you'll learn the latest digital art techniques and design theories in the field of design. Your core requirements include courses such as digital imaging, publication and packaging design. Plus, you'll use advanced software, and gain a historical and technical understanding of graphic and multimedia design. In this fine arts program, you'll create polished and professional designs worthy for your portfolio. You'll explore areas in the graphic design industry such as illustration, packaging design, advertising design, photography, web design, motion graphics, digital layout, photo manipulation and more. And you'll learn this from dedicated faculty who are accomplished professionals in advertising, product design, branding, illustration and related fields.
