Submit official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended that show the successful completion of a regionally accredited bachelor's degree with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale). Submit two letters of recommendation from people who can attest to your artistic abilities, commitment, work ethic and creative potential. Your recommenders will receive a link to upload their document. Submit a resume indicating your professional experience. Submit a portfolio that includes written and media work. Submit a statement of creative intent. The minimum scores considered for full graduate admission to CDM are:
80 on the iBT of the TOEFL with a minimum score of 17 on each section
550 on the paper-based TOEFL test
6.5 on the IELTS test

The MFA in Documentary intends to provide aspiring documentary filmmakers with a demanding program that integrates knowledge of documentary history, styles and traditions, an affinity to research and development, varied approaches to storytelling and production, with the technological aspects that develop strong production values, effective post-production, and finally the ability to take creative work to its audiences.
