Students may apply for entry to the MDes program after successful completion of the Certificate. Those students who successfully complete the PBAC program at NSCAD University, but have not achieved the required GPA for entry to the MDes degree program, may be qualified to apply for admission to the BDes or BFA degree program. These students could be eligible to transfer 60 credit hours from a combination of academic work done in the PBAC program and approved previous postsecondary education.
English Language proficiency:
TOEFL: At least 94 with no test less than 22
IELTS: At least 7.0 with no test less than 6.0
CAEL: At least 69 with no test less than 60
CANTEST: At least 4.5 with no test less than 4.0
CAE: At least B
MELAB: At least 82 with no test less than 80

课程简介
The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Design provides an introduction to interdisciplinary design. Comprised of 30 credits, the program is typically taken in the fall and winter semesters and includes a mix of studio credits, liberal arts and science courses. In keeping with the broad, interdisciplinary approach of NSCAD’s BDes and MDes programs, the certificate is intended as a generalist credential and is not specific to any one area of design.
