All applicants must provide proof of graduation from high school or equivalent in the form of official records transcripts with certified English translation if necessary, Students should submit transcripts from all years of study at the high school level Students may also submit the GED or HISET to fulfill this requirement.
An official credential evaluation report must be sent electronically or DIRECTLY to IVCs Admissions Records Office Unofficial reports cannot be used to grant credit Visit Providing Official Transcripts to IVC for more information.
Transcripts Students should send official high school transcripts and or university transcripts directly to the IVC Admissions and Records Office in order to receive any transfer credit or prerequisite clearances Visit Providing Official Transcripts to IVC for more information.
Graduation from US high school Students who have completed at least 2 years at a US high school and received their US diploma will be waived from English proficiency testing Such students must submit their official transcripts by Providing Transcripts to IVC.
ESL Partner Schools Students who have completed specific levels at an approved IVC English language school may be able to waive the English proficiency test requirement Submit an official transcript or letter verifying completion of the required level Please visit English Proficiency Requirements for a list of IVCs partner English language schools.
English proficiency can be met by submitting one of the following English proficiency tests.
Official exam scores must not be more than two years old.
TOEFL - 52 iBT or 470 paper based test IVC institution code is 4773.
IELTS - 4.5.
itep - 3.5
CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH 160 - B2 First, C1 Advanced.
PEARSON - 41.
EIKEN Grade 2A - Original test score reports are required for the EIKEN test.
GTEC CBT - 900.

The certificate in dance technique is designed for students interested in vocational opportunities in the local entertainment and dance studios job market. The program allows students to study a variety of dance techniques and styles to prepare them to audition at any of the numerous performance-based entertainment venues in the region or pursue further study.<br><br>Each year both faculty and students are selected to participate in various choreographic and performance festivals, competitions and events, such as the American College Dance Festival. Selection is based upon the quality of the performers and the choreography of the dance.<br>Program Student Learning Outcomes<br>Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:<br>Analyze, evaluate, and correlate the dance techniques from various dance genres.
