In our theatre arts major, you'll be given numerous opportunities to develop and showcase your acting, directing, design, and technical expertise through our season of plays and musicals. Outstanding professional growth opportunities are provided through associations with a number of regional professional theatre companies as well as regular campus visits by industry professionals. Our connections to local theatre companies continues to grow every year, bridging the educational theatre community and the professional world. Choose between emphases in general theatre arts, performance (acting and musical theatre), youth theatre, or design and technology.<br><br>Our Theatre Arts programs prepare students for excellence in every aspect of theatre Our undergraduate and graduate programs are structured to involve students in all aspects of theatre, from acting and musical theatre, to design for sets, costumes, lighting and sound, dramaturgy, stage management, and cutting-edge advances in theatre technology.
