If you are graduating from a high school outside of the United States, your application will be reviewed on the following admission criteria Completion of high school/secondary level. A certified copy of graduation certificate or diploma will be required prior to enrollment at SDSU. Review the Requirements by Country for country specific information. A minimum U.S. equivalent GPA (grade point average) of 3.0 (B grade or 80 percent) or higher. English Proficiency: If you are attending or have attended a high school where English was not the primary language of instruction, you must meet university-level competence in English through one of the following: TOEFL – Passing score is 80 iBT and 550 paper or higher. IELTS – Passing overall score is 6.5 or higher.

The BA Emphasis in Youth Theatre is aimed students interested in working as teachers or teaching artists in classrooms and communities. Coursework includes an overview of the field of Theatre for Young audiences as well as learning how to integrate theatre arts into multiple subject areas. Students acquire skills in curriculum design and leading theatre activities.<br><br>Our Theatre Arts programs prepare students for excellence in every aspect of theatre Our undergraduate and graduate programs are structured to involve students in all aspects of theatre, from acting and musical theatre, to design for sets, costumes, lighting and sound, dramaturgy, stage management, and cutting-edge advances in theatre technology.
