The Mason Gross School of the Arts acting program is meant for students serious about pursuing a career as an acting professional. A faculty of outstanding master teachers and professional artists track each student's progress. Acting, voice, speech, and movement constitute the programs integrated core, augmented by courses in Clown, Script Analysis, Performance Ensemble, Dialects, and Acting for the Camera. The program follows a rigorous and structured 3.5 year, 7 semester, curriculum. The third year is spent at Shakespeare's Globe in London immersed in the study of classical acting culminating with a performance on the Globe stage. The goal of the program is to graduate actors who are equipped for the demands of the contemporary stage as well as television and film.
