With faculty and staff who are working professionals and artists, the scenic program prepares students for success in a variety of theatre industry environments. <br>The scenic area provides skill development in: carpentry, various metal-working techniques, hand drafting, computer-aided drafting and modeling, vacu-forming, 3D printing, scenic painting, model building , prop fabrication, scenery automation, drawing and rendering, igging, scenic art.<br>Scenic design and technology students are mentored to become leaders in full-scale productions while at Baylor, developing hands-on ability in research, visual communication, artistry, and collaboration.<br>The Theatre Design and Technology major is ideal for students who wish to pursue careers in set design, costume design, lighting design, or technical design.
