Official Secondary and College Transcripts: Forward official secondary school transcript(s) accompanied by an English translation of the document(s), as well as an official transcript of the in-progress grades when available. Transfer students should submit official copies of their final secondary school transcript and their college/university study. These should be accompanied by an English translation. Any available information regarding the comparability of secondary school or college courses to the U.S. system should also be provided.
SATs Not Required: If a student chooses to submit SAT I or ACT scores, they can be taken from the high school transcript, or an official copy can be requested from the testing agency. Western New England University's SAT code is 3962, and the ACT code is 1930.
Letters of recommendation are not required.

The Arts and Entertainment Management major is ideal for those who want to be involved in the field of arts and entertainment, but are not necessarily focused on being an artist or performer. As an Arts and Entertainment Management major, you will be well prepared for a management career in for-profit or nonprofit creative and cultural organizations, or in the hospitality industry. To prepare you for a management career, you will take a common core of business and management courses along with specialized courses in the major. Your arts and entertainment-specific curriculum will include Introduction to Arts & Entertainment Organizations, Arts & Entertainment Venue Operations, Event Management or Arts & Entertainment Practicum, Business Law for Arts & Entertainment, and Economics of Arts & Entertainment, as well as industry-based projects. You may specialize by completing 12 credit hours of non-business elective courses in one of four areas exclusively: Music, Television/Film, Theatre, or Visual Arts. Additionally, with the use of electives, you can pursue a dual major in Marketing.<br><br>Our graduates are prepared to assume positions of responsibility in a wide variety of arts and entertainment organizations in the private and public sectors. These include arts festivals, arts foundations, art galleries and historical museums, community arts centers or community theaters, dance companies, educational institutions, film and television companies, opera companies, orchestra companies, regional theaters, or television stations.
