Statement Essay - While the video essay portion found in the graduate application is not required for CCM applicants a 500word written personal statement is required This should include within the graduate application your degree objectives frank observations of your professional and personal strengths and weaknesses any significant professional experiences or honors you were awarded as well as any other information you feel the faculty and admissions committee should know.
Transcripts - Please upload unofficial transcripts from each institution youve attended to your online application Please note official transcripts are NOT required during the application process.
Letter of Recommendation - One letter of recommendation is required for all MM performance DMA performance and AD applicants However other degree programs may require 2-3.
Audition and Interview - While prescreening submission is required for all applicants not all applicants will be invited to audition or interview In some cases applicants will receive a final admission decision based solely off their prescreen submission In other cases faculty will request an additional audition or interview.

CCM's Master of Music in Organ offers advanced organ students the opportunity to hone technical expertise, musicianship and knowledge in the center of Cincinnati, a next-generation city revered for the arts. With access to seven pipe organs on campus and many of the finest instruments in the region, CCM offers master's students in organ opportunities to learn from and perform with esteemed musicians in world-class facilities.<br><br>MM Organ students extend their performance abilities through weekly private lessons with faculty mentors, chamber ensemble participation and recitals. Academics are emphasized through music theory and musicology coursework and multiple electives. Our faculty of eminent artist-teachers offer students one-on-one attention and opportunities to perform in the tri-state region and globally. Students are encouraged to pursue additional practical training through internship programs with local churches.<br>CCM's world-renowned faculty focus on both traditional repertoire and modern experimental music composed for the organ. Students can expect many performance opportunities with arts organizations tri-state area churches, and the Cincinnati Chapter of the American Guild of Organists as preparation for careers in church music, private teaching and performance. Graduates of the program often continue on to advanced study.
