Our nationally renowned musical theatre degree program has launched hundreds of successful careers. UNC musical theatre alumni have appeared in more than 50 Broadway productions, including Wicked and Jersey Boys. Dozens more have starred in national touring shows, off-Broadway productions and regional theatres, as well as in television, film and web projects. You'll get first-class, conservatory-style training in UNC's musical theatre program, learning from experienced industry pros?including guest artists from New York, L.A. and elsewhere. With more than 30 shows a year, we offer a wealth of performing opportunities?and you can earn roles as a freshman, instead of waiting years for your chance. You'll learn in small classes that include lots of one-on-one coaching, with top-flight instruction in voice, acting and dance.
