One of the premier musicology programs in the nation, we offer courses in music from all periods, an outstanding music library, and the resources of a major research university with a comprehensive school of music. But we are also a close, active, and friendly community of scholars. Master's students participate in a Musicology Reading Group to discuss recent literature, while doctoral students find opportunities for close work with faculty and fellow students through our seminars and methods courses. Complementing our wide range of world-class resources and strong sense of community, we also offer robust financial aid and individualized attention.
