The Lamar University Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music offers you a broad-based liberal arts degree through the study of music and an applied instrument, including voice. You'll choose a minor based on your own professional goals. For example, a music major with a business minor might someday own a music retail company, and a music major with an English minor might become a music critic. Alternately, this degree can become a platform into continued graduate study. Your first step is to apply to LU, then to apply for your audition into the program. We look forward to meeting you.<br>During your Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music at Lamar University, you will study with renowned faculty who are intensely invested in your success as a musician, academically and professionally.
