国际学生入学条件

Students must have high school diploma with passing grades equivalent to US ?C+? average on all transcripts and/or exam score. They must have successfully completed the following high school courses (one unit equals one year): English: four units; mathematics: three to four units of college preparatory mathematics, including one year of geometry and one year of advanced algebra and/or trigonometry; science: two to three units (two of which must be courses in the physical or biological sciences), one unit must be a laboratory science; social studies: two to three units (one of which must be U.S. history or a combination of U.S. history and government); foreign language, art, music, or vocational education. In addition to this, international students should have obtained TOEFL scores of 527 on a Paper-based Test, and completed ELS course 112 certificate.

课程简介

The B.A., offered through the College of Visual and Performing Arts, is designed for students who wish to study music in the context of a comprehensive liberal arts experience, immersing themselves in both the practice and theory. The B.A.'s flexibility allows for students to pursue a related minor or second major to augment their interests, as well as broaden their post-graduate career paths. Four-year degree paths can be found on the Office of Student Academic Success website. Students admitted to this program have the opportunity to construct individualized programs of study tailored to their specific needs and career plans (in consultation with faculty and advisors). For example, some recent graduates have devised a program of study in the recording arts, music administration, and other music-related topics.
