Students must submit official copies of academic credentials - with literal English translation. All previous academic work must be included, and a syllabus of coursework with English translation should be provided. Students should have an official TOEFL or IELTS Score Report sent - for all applicants for whom English is not their native language. They must also have official GRE, GMAT or other test score report sent. International Students must submit Statement of Finances. Students must copy their information/photo page as in the passport and Letters of Recommendation and/or other supplemental materials required by the academic unit.

Pursue your passion and deepen your knowledge of music theory and history. During this program, you will explore music within a variety of contexts; create original, music-based works; and learn to write about music at a publishable level. As a student in this program, you will work with a supervisory committee to choose an area of concentration tailored to your interests and career goals. Examples of concentration areas include (but are not limited to) conducting, education, jazz, theory, performance, collaborative piano and composition. Music professionals can find employment in a variety of settings, including schools, recording studios, religious and community organizations, and performing arts companies.
