All international applicants whose first language is not English must provide proof of English language proficiency English language proficiency may be demonstrated by one of the following -
TOEFL iBT - minimum score of 79.
IELTS - minimum score of 6.5.
Cambridge English Advanced - 176-184.
Pearson Test of English minimum score of 53.
Eiken Test of English completion of level Pre1.
Applicants who have attended a secondary school or post-secondary school where the language of instruction is English may be exempt from submitting an English proficiency examination depending upon their English grades AP IB O level A-level GCSE American Curriculum and their SAT and or ACT scores if submitted Such exemptions are determined on a case-by-case basis.

The B.A. program in Music combines performance, musicology and theory with more in-depth study in the liberal arts, offering options in Music, Music History and Literature, and Jazz Studies. The program also allows you the flexibility to add interdisciplinary study, double major, and minor options.<br><br>Our concentration in music history and literature offers you a focus on musicologythe history of music and the musical literature of all historical periods. This concentration requires additional music history courses, foreign language study and includes theory, analysis, and counterpoint. Emphasis is on the traditions of Western art music, but includes world music, American popular styles, and the art of listening.
