Join a program committed to helping you cultivate your skills and grow as an artist in a supportive and encouraging environment. During this program, you will gain experience on campus and off by playing solo recitals, studying chamber music, teaching local students, playing in schoolwide competitions and participating in masterclasses with world-renowned guest artists. As student in this program, you will learn about music history and theory, and develop and present two high-level public solo recitals to showcase your technical and artistic capabilities. Coursework, exercises and performance experiences are designed to prepare you for professional-level performance. Look forward to rewarding career options as a music teacher, college music professor, studio musician, church musician or music arrangement professional. The demand for musicians is expected to grow about as fast as the average for all occupations, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
