音乐业务为学生提供了从事艺术管理，唱片业，人才管理，非营利艺术组织，娱乐法，电影音乐，数字/互联网音乐产业，广播/电视，音乐出版，音乐零售/商品销售等职业的准备，以及公共关系/市场营销。课程内容包括音乐行业的法律和职业方面，会计，计算机科学，经济学以及MBA的相关前提课程。学生将在艺术管理，沟通/写作，企业家意识，组织结构和谈判方面发展必要的技能。在初中/高中学习期间，需要与公司和非营利性艺术组织进行实习，以准备在具有全球竞争力的音乐行业中工作。
Music Business prepares students to work in professions in both the for- and non-profit sectors of the music industry. Example professions include such as arts administration, the recording industry, talent management, non-profit arts organizations, entertainment law, film music, the digital/internet music industry, radio/television, music publishing, music retail/merchandising, and public relations/marketing. Coursework in the program covers subjects such as legal and career aspects of the music industry, accounting, marketing, basic music technology, economics, and related prerequisite coursework which should allow students to apply for Masters and/or Doctoral programs in Business Administration, Music Industry Management or Arts Administration after graduation.<br><br>Students in the program develop necessary skills in arts management, communication, writing, entrepreneurship, basic financial and economic management, organizational structures and negotiation. Internships with corporate and non-profit arts organizations are required and generally occur during the Junior/Senior years of study, in preparation for careers in the globally-competitive music industry.
