Admitted students are required to submit final secondary school (high school) transcripts and/or proof of degree completion (A-Levels, WAEC, CBSE, High School Certificate, etc.) before enrolling at DePaul.
TOEFL - 80 on the IBT TOEFL with no subsection lower than 17 , IELTS Academic - 6.5 on the IELTS Academic, SAT - minimum evidence based reading and writing score of 550, ACT - minimum reading score of 18 and English score of 20.

A Bachelor of Music in music education gives students a solid foundation in the fundamentals of teaching K-12 music, along with a large number of performance opportunities. Participate in 16 weeks of student teaching in k-12 music education settings. Work with professors with strong practical experience. Receive Illinois K-12 Music Teacher Licensure upon graduation. At the DePaul School of Music, you will learn from a faculty of working, professional musicians in a collaborative, performance-focused environment. You will work with classmates and instructors who will guide you toward success in the world of music. You will grow, achieve and create great music.
