We offer undergraduate and graduate degrees that ensure you are trained in virtually every aspect of jazz performance and pedagogy, including improvisation, history, arranging/composition, small and large ensemble playing, rhythm section techniques, private instrumental study, studio techniques, vocal jazz, and pedagogy. Youll study with faculty members who possess impressive performance and educational credentials. Our world-class jazz studies faculty boasts scholars, authors, award-winning composers and performers, Grammy winners, National Endowment for the Arts recipients, Pulitzer Prize winners, and Jazz Masters.
