国际学生入学条件
Graduate applicants to UNT are evaluated holistically, based on specific departmental and program requirements. In the past, successful candidates usually have met certain GPA minima:
3.00 GPA in the undergraduate degree for admission to the Master's program,
Or 3.50 GPA in the undergraduate degree for direct admission to Doctoral programs (if program allows direct admission),
Or 3.50 GPA in Masters-level studies for admission to Doctoral programs
Applicants for admission to the M.M. or D.M.A. degree programs in performance or GACMP must pass an admission audition before a faculty panel. Please note all areas require a screening (preliminary audition) video. Information regarding the screening is available within the area listing on the repertoire pages.
Auditions will occur in one of three ways:
Live Audition – Will occur on campus in Denton on our specified dates. Applicants invited for a live audition will be notified through email of their scheduled audition day/time.
Virtual Audition – Reserved for applicants who reside more than 250 miles from Denton. This audition will happen virtually in real-time through our Acceptd application system with the faculty from your specific area. This option is not available for DMA Jazz applicants.
Final Video Audition – Available for applicants who are unable to attend the auditions in person and/or who apply after live auditions are full and closed. Following review of the video audition, our faculty may contact you to schedule an interview or virtual session if additional information is needed.
IELTS - Overall band 6.0 or higher. TOEFL IBT - 79. TOEFL PBT - 550.
