The school is ranked 47th in the world and is one of the largest academic schools of nursing in Australia. The school has over 3000 students and is ranked as the number one post graduate school of nursing and midwifery in the country. As well as our undergraduate programs in nursing, midwifery and honours, we have seven post graduate programs, including a masters in mental health, and nurse practioners programs. The school is in a prime position to make a difference in Newcastle and the Hunter, the Central Coast, the mid-North Coast, Sydney, and beyond. We have campuses in the Ourimbah, Port Macquarie, and Callaghan as well as satellite premises in Orange, Tamworth and Singapore. The school also offers research education through Honours, Masters and a PhD program, where higher degree students undertake a broad range of nursing, midwifery and health related research under the supervision of experienced academic staff and members of the Professoriate. The majority of this research is undertaken in conjunction with a range of industry partners and within multidisciplinary teams of research collaborators.
