A completed Australian bachelor's degree in medical science or heath science, completed within 10 years of commencement at QUT, with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher (on QUT's 7 point scale).
Assumed Knowledge
It is assumed you have completed study in the following subject areas: anatomy, chemistry, physiology, pathophysiology/disease processes and statistics.
Automatic advanced standing (credit)
If admitted to the graduate entry program you will automatically receive one and a half years of advanced standing which will entitle you to complete the degree in two and a half years (full-time).
Working with Children Check: blue card
You'll need to submit your blue card application form immediately upon arrival onshore in Australia.
IELTS Academic: 7.0 Overall with 6.5 in all other band. TOEFL iBT: 98 Overall with Listening 20, Reading 20, Writing 24, Speaking 20.

Our teaching and clinical staff are practising podiatrists who maintain links with the profession ensuring our courses are up-to-date and relevant.What to expect:<br>Podiatrists diagnose and manage a wide range of foot and related lower limb conditions to help improve mobility and quality of life in people of all ages. As a training podiatrist, you will provide foot health care to diverse clients utilising podiatry surgical procedures, musculoskeletal and gait assessments, orthoses and exercise prescription, wound care and foot health education. Commonly, patients present with conditions that may include foot pain, sports injuries, footwear problems, skin or nail problems. Podiatrists often work alongside other health professionals to deliver the best overall care for a patient with chronic disease such as diabetes or rheumatoid arthritis.<br>Careers and outcomes<br>Your degree in podiatry can lead to working in a diverse range of setting, including hospitals, private practice, sole practitioner or multi-disciplinary settings. Opportunities to further specialise include diabetes, paediatrics, forensics, sports podiatry, podiatric surgery, prescribing medicines and clinical research.Professional recognition<br>This course is accredited under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
