Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level. The English proficiency requirement for international students or local applicants with international qualifications is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0, or TOEFL: paper based: 550-583 overall with TWE of 4.5, internet based: 79-93 overall with a writing score of 21, or AE5: Pass, or CAE: 176-184. Eligibility for admission does not guarantee offer of a place. Visa requirement: To obtain a student visa to study in Australia, international students must enrol full time and on campus. Australian student visa regulations also require international students studying on student visas to complete the course within the standard full-time duration. Students can extend their courses only in exceptional circumstances. Successful completion of International Baccalaureate Diploma Program subjects English A: literature or English A: language and literature, where the Diploma Program was taught in a language other than English

In the science component of this combined degree, students may select any one of 12 different specialised programs leading to the award of a science degree naming the chosen discipline, or students may select a range of science subjects to tailor their study according to their interests. Taking a transdisciplinary approach, the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation utilises multiple perspectives from diverse fields, integrating a range of industry experiences, real-world projects and self-initiated proposals, equipping graduates to address the wicked problems, complex challenges and untapped opportunities in today's world. The flexibility of this course allows students to either specialise in a specific professional area or to develop skills and knowledge in a range of scientific disciplines. All majors aim to produce professional scientists with a thorough grounding in theory and highly adaptable and practical scientific, experimental and computational skills relevant to the discipline chosen.
