High school: High School applicants must present five Grade 12 level courses for admission. Included in these five courses, applicants must present the required subjects for their intended program of choice. The specific courses required for your program count towards your Group A courses. The additional subject(s) which may be presented for admission include the following courses from Group A, B, or C.
High School/Secondary and/or Post-secondary (transferable to MRU) courses
2 years of full-time study in English (see list of English-speaking countries below) and English Language Arts 30 1 (equivalent)
TOEFL iBT - 86 (min. 20 in each of four sections)
IELTS - 6.5 (min. 5.5 on each band)

Massage therapists help people feel better and live better lives. Trained massage therapists assess clients, apply therapeutic massage techniques, and adapt treatments to promote rehabilitation and pain reduction.<br>The Massage Therapy Diploma is accredited by the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation (CMTCA) and recognized by the professional associations and regulatory colleges. Delivering training to the highest national standards, the diploma features a comprehensive approach to wellness with an emphasis on treating chronic and acute conditions.<br><br>Integrating theory, practice and research, you will gain new skills in the health sciences, client assessment, biomechanics, neuroanatomy, orthopedic assessment, palpation and techniques.<br><br>Gain real-life experience as you provide 330-hours of supervised massage therapy treatments to diverse populations through our student-run practicum clinic and at a variety of community outreach opportunities.<br>PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS<br>High standards train to the highest standards nationally with an accredited massage therapy program. The Massage Therapy Diploma has been awarded accreditation by the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation (CMTCA).
