Official Transcripts - All non-US transcripts must be evaluation by World Education Services WES Applications that have a pending Foreign Evaluation will be considered incomplete and will not be sent for review
Applicants completing their final semester of their undergraduate degree will be required to resend their final official transcript showing that their degree has been completed directly to SOPHAS if admitted into the program
The following exams and minimum scores are accepted as proof of English proficiency -
TOEFL minimum score of 80 iBT
In-person and at-home online exam scores accepted TOEFL Essentials and My Best Test scores are not accepted.
IELTS minimum score of 6.5 overall band.

Occupational public health is a dedicated branch of medicine that focuses on the prevention of work-related illness and injury. Students in this concentration also complete the Occupational Medicine Residency Training Program while obtaining their MPH degree. Applicants must have completed a clinical year (PGY-1) before they start the UC Occupational Medicine residency program, and they should have completed or currently be completing their PGY-1 clinical year before applying to our program.<br>The UC MPH-Occupational Public Health concentration fulfills important requirements of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) as well as the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM) as residents prepare for their board certification in Preventive Medicine with a specialty in Occupational Medicine. This program prepares students to assume leadership positions in settings that include: government agencies, universities, corporate medical departments, hospital-based occupational medicine departments, insurance companies, and ambulatory occupational medicine practices.
