Basic requirements for admission as an international student to a bachelor's degree program include the following:
Completion of formal secondary education in a pre-university curriculum.
Completion must include the awarding of a diploma or the issuance of a leaving certificate or matriculation certificate generally recognized as the educational qualification necessary for admission to higher studies.
English language ability at a level sufficient to undertake a full course of study.

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Testing (ACT) scores (if applicable).
International students are not required to provide an ACT or SAT score, but they may use the ACT or SAT to satisfy English language proficiency requirements.

Public Health focuses on preventing illness and promoting health in individuals, communities, and society as a whole. Choose a concentration in human disease and epidemiology, health policy and administration, or health promotion and education. Learn to identify critical elements of health and develop a foundation to work in diverse environments. Public Health is a broad field that can lead to a number of diverse career opportunities. From epidemiologists who help prevent the spread of disease to community health specialists, environmental scientists, refugee coordinators, policy analysts, health administrators, and health education specialists, there are a wide variety of career choices for students in this field of study. In addition, it is a gateway to pre-professional schools (medical, dental, veterinary, physical therapy, etc.), as well as graduate studies in public health and related fields. <br><br>Our Bachelor or Arts in Public Health: Human Disease and Epidemiology degree is designed to be flexible, and yet provide disciplinary breadth for pre-professional students and students interested in an entry-level career or graduate studies in public health. Students pursuing the Human Disease and Epidemiology track in Public Health will learn to apply basic concepts in biology to understand the factors that cause illness and to apply that understanding to promote health in human populations. This track explores differences in health across time and population subgroups as well as the reasons for those differences. Students completing this track will complete: A common set of core courses in public health, A track-specific set of courses that address basic cell biology, human diseases, and epidemiology, One or more elective courses that build upon the student's interest, and A capstone course in advanced epidemiology.
