We accept a maximum of 6 points from Level 3 Key Skills qualifications.
We also require three passes at GCSE grade C or above, which must include Mathematics and English Language, or a minimum of Level 2 Key Skills in Communication, Application of Number. If you have studied for a GCSE which has a numerical grade then you will need to achieve a grade 4 or above.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - You need an overall score of 6.0, with at least 5.5 or higher in each component: reading, writing, listening and speaking. An alternative approved Secure English Language Test (SELT) will also be accepted if the applicant's element scores are equivalent to those required for IELTS.

Study the most important public health and community issues facing our society today. Explore the policy and practice implications for health in the 21st century. Graduate with a dynamic range of skills and seek employment in the health, education and public sectors. Public health is about improving the lives of others by preventing and managing health problems. On this course, you will learn about the health and well-being of communities and groups. You will analyse the many different determinants that impact on the health of an individual and populations, including biological, social, political and cultural to technological, environmental and global factors.
