The Master of Science in the Communication Sciences and Disorders program prepares students for professional positions working with persons with hearing, speech, language, voice, literacy, and fluency disorders in hospital clinics, rehabilitation centers, schools, residential institutions, private practices, and other settings. A concentration is offered in speech-language pathology. The curriculum emphasizes the speech, language, and hearing processes, knowledge about human communication disorders, and evaluation and treatment methods. Practicum experiences are available at a wide variety of area institutions.
