Personal Statement
The personal statement offers you an opportunity to discuss the talents, experiences and goals that qualify you for acceptance to a graduate program at Binghamton University. The graduate admissions committee is seeking evidence of your qualifications and aptitude, as well as your ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Resume or Curriculum Vitae
Your resume or curriculum vitae (CV) should include your name, contact information, educational degrees and certificates, and your work and volunteer experience listed in reverse chronological order. You should also include additional information relevant to your program, such as research experience, teaching experience, published works, grants or fellowships, awards, professional associations and professional licenses.
Letters of Recommendation
The Graduate School requires two letters of recommendation from individuals who can comment authoritatively on your academic achievements and/or work or internship experience related to your program
Students holding an MS degree in nursing may enroll in the post-graduate nurse practitioner certificate program. Depending on prior educational preparation, several course requirements may be eligible for waiver by the graduate nursing program director with the submission of official transcripts reflecting successful completion of previous coursework (grade of B or better) and related supporting course syllabi.
TOEFL score of 80 on the Internet-based test. IELTS score of 6.5, with no band below 5.0.

课程简介
This program prepares nurses for advanced practice with families by addressing individual and family health problems, family functioning and complex families. The post-graduate certificate programs are designed for nurses with a master's degree in nursing who seek advanced clinical preparation as a nurse practitioner. Supervised clinical practice is an integral part of the program. Whenever possible, clinical experience will be arranged near the student's place of residence. Upon completion of the certificate program, graduates will be eligible for certification in New York state and are eligible to sit for a national certification examination.
