Students who have earned a baccalaureate degree (or the equivalent to a U.S. college or university degree for international students) with a GPA of 2.7 or higher are encouraged to apply for admission.

English Language Score: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Score of at least 550 (pct.) or 80 (iBT); International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Overall band score of at least 6.0; Pearson Test of English (PTE): Score of at least 55; Duolingo English test: Score of at least 105; Cambridge Score: Score of at least 176; Step Eiken: Test level of Grade 1; iTEP (International Test of English Proficiency): Score of at least 3.9; ELS Language Center: Completion of level 112. Application Deadlines: November 30th for Spring entry; July 1st for Fall entry. For online option, deadline - Summer: March-28.

The ways in which health care is offered and paid for is changing as never before, and with the advent of the Affordable Care Act, there is a growing need for Nurse Practitioners (NP). For nurses who want to provide culturally-appropriate primary care services for families, the MSN Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program (available on-campus and online) is for you. If your experience is in acute care and you want to utilize your expertise in chronic conditions such cardiac, neuro or renal care, for example, you are uniquely suited to manage these conditions for patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. It is not the setting that determines the scope of practice, but the role in which the NP is functioning. Such an FNP might provide continuity services for all diabetic patients in an agency, whether the patient is in outpatient clinic or in-house for an unrelated procedure.
