The Mental Health and Happiness profile is for students who have an interest in the individual, group and societal factors that influence and affect our happiness and mental health. Courses from various disciplines, including psychology, anthropology, sociology, economics, and Indigenous perspectives will lead students to better understand and to think critically about how our biology, experiences, relationships, and the context we live in can contribute to and improve these important aspects of the human experience.<br><br>The Social Science profile in Mental Health and Happiness prepares students to pursue university studies in any Social Science discipline such as psychology, anthropology, economics, sociology, geography, history, political science, as well, law, journalism, education, and social work. This profile is not a prerequisite for a specific university program.
