Applicants must submit an official secondary/high school transcript indicating courses completed and grades.
Transfer students must submit official college transcript(s) from all previously attended colleges/universities.
International students whose language of instruction is not English, must provide proof of English proficiency.
Manhattan College accepts the following exams:
TOEFL IBT - 80
IELTS - 6.5
Duolingo - 100
One letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor is required. You may submit up to three academic letters. You are also permitted to submit an additional character reference.
Course selection and performance will be considered when evaluating your academic record. For the most recent incoming class, the average GPA was 89 (3.4), however, the admissions committee considers more than GPA when evaluating an application.
International applicants are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Applicants must complete a full sequence of university-preparatory studies that would qualify for admission to post-secondary studies in their home country. In general, students who present a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average from university preparatory studies are considered for admission. This requirement is equivalent to the twelve-year program of elementary, middle, and high school in the United States.

Radiation Therapists use state of the art equipment in a rapidly advancing area of oncology to treat and manage cancer patients. Cancer patients rely on a radiation therapist's precision and mastery of technology to help cure their disease and relieve their pain and discomfort. If you have an interest in science and medicine and a desire to help people, radiation therapy technology may be the right field for you. The profession involves patient contact and the utilization of state-of-the-art medical procedures and technology. You will develop the skills to join a team of specialists, such as radiation oncologists, physicists and dosimetrists, to deliver appropriate radiation to cancer patients. As a radiation therapy technology major, you will learn how to: Prepare the patient and equipment for the delivery of the radiation, Keep accurate records of the treatment of each patient, Observe radiation safety and protection procedures, Assist with treatment & computer planning, which includes the exact location of the tumor and the optimal technique for treatment.
