Admission to a Virginia Commonwealth UniversityÂ undergraduateÂ degree program requires graduation from a secondaryÂ schoolÂ or the equivalent (lyceum,Â seniorÂ middleÂ school, university preparatoryÂ school, completion of GCSE exams, Standard 12 graduation, etc.), which typically consists of at least 12Â yearsÂ beyond kindergarten. Your secondary education should be the type that would prepare you for entrance to a recognized university in your home country. A minimum GPA of 2.50 based on a four-point scale in the cumulative courses and a minimum GPA of 2.70 in the math/science courses. IELTS - 6.0, TOEFL iBT - 70.

课程简介

The Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene requires two years of liberal arts study, with a minimum of 60 semester hours, followed by two years of study focusing on basic and dental sciences, dental hygiene science and theory, community health and pre-clinical and clinical experiences. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible for national, regional and state board licensing examinations. Classes enter once each year in the fall semester.<br><br>The Dental Hygiene Program in the Department of General Practice offers courses leading to a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. The Dental Hygiene Program, which began in 1969, requires two years of liberal arts study, with a minimum of 60 semester hours, followed by two years of study focusing on basic and dental sciences, dental hygiene science and theory, community health, and preclinical and clinical experiences. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible for national, regional and state board licensing examinations.
