Secondary educational systems vary across the globe. The United States has a 12-year secondary educational system. Many countries have 10, 11, or 13-year secondary educational systems. If you have attended school in a country where the secondary system differs from the United States, you may be eligible for admission. Each undergraduate admissions application is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
The International Admissions Office completes in-house evaluations of all international credentials and coursework. If a student has attended an educational institution within the U.S., official documents must be sent directly from the institution to WKU. Students may provide a color scan of credentials earned outside the U.S. While an admission decision can be made based upon scanned documents, students are required to present official documents to the International Admissions Office upon arrival to campus. Consulates & embassies often serve as a resource for the attestation of educational documents.
Official Academic Records from schools attended with grades and any degrees/diplomas/certificates received. Should also include a literal English translation.
Financial Evidence of Support must be provided to obtain an I-20
Students transferring from within the US will need to fill out the Transfer-In Form

The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a health and human sciences related career The program is an interdisciplinary program with three primary purposes: 1) Allowing students with a general interest in Health Sciences to pursue a B.S. degree while obtaining a concentration in a specific area of Health and Human Services. 2) Permitting students to prepare for post-graduate or professional Health Sciences programs. 3) Providing an option for students with a health-related associate's degree who wish to continue their education field (approved by the Health Sciences Advisor). 38-41 core Health Science credit hours are required, including a required concentration ranging from 24-27 credit hours. Students pursuing the major are required to select one of the following degree tracks: Preparatory Health Sciences Concentration Health and Social Welfare Concentration Associate's Degree in a health field (approved by the Health Sciences Advisor)<br><br>Graduates of an Associate's of Applied Science (AAS) in clinical laboratory technician, medical assisting, medical information technology, nuclear medicine, occupational therapy assistant, physical therapist assistant, polysomnographic technologist, radiography, respiratory care, diagnostic medical sonography, surgical technology, or other Health related programs as approved by the WKU Health Science faculty are also utilized to replace concentration courses.
