听觉学

听觉学(Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology)是一门研究生理、病理状态下听觉功能及听力障碍康复的科学。听觉医学是第二次世界大战后才发展起来的一门年轻学科，最初源于听力检测技术，属耳科学范畴，其基础是耳的解剖和生理以及有关的声学知识，以后随着电声和数字信号处理及芯片等技术的发展以及对基础医学认识的不断提高而发展，逐渐成为一门独立的学科。听觉学涉及多门学科，包括耳科学、神经科学、生理学、病理学、心理学及教育学等，是一门新兴的边缘学科。
