Grade 12
Submit proof of graduation from or enrolment in Grade 12, including one credit of:
Grade 12 Biology 40S
or
Grade 12 Chemistry 40S
One credit of Grade 12 Applied Math 40S or Pre-Calculus Math 40S is not required but is strongly recommended.
If you provide proof of enrolment at time of application, your official final grades indicating successful completion must be submitted by July 15 for fall enrolment or by the deadline specified in your admission letter
If you are required to complete an English language assessment, do not submit your transcripts until requested to do so.
IELTS Academic - 6.5 Overall (L- 6.5, S - 6.5, R - 6.5, W - 6.0)
TOEFL iBT - 98 Overall (L- 24, S - 23, R - 24, W - 27)
Duolingo - Minimum Overal Score of 115 Required.

Combine medical knowledge with specialized technology to manage and protect patient information, aid public education and advance innovative research as part of the health-care industry. Through the Health Information Management program, you will develop specialized, in-depth knowledge of health information science, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology and build practical skills in medical coding, computerization and statistical analysis. You’ll use this knowledge to effectively manage the critical health information required for administration, research, education and proper patient care. As a Health Information Management graduate, you are eligible for the national certification exam administered by the Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM). After this exam, you can work across Canada as a certified professional member of the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA).<br><br>In this program, you will develop the specialized medical, computer and business skills required for a successful career in health information management. Build fundamental health information management skills and develop knowledge in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology. Learn to manage and code health data and calculate health care statistics while strengthening your anatomy and physiology knowledge. Expand your professional knowledge by exploring research methods, various electronic systems and the structure of the Canadian health-care system. Combine your knowledge with legal principles and hone your analytics, management and coding skills in preparation for graduation and a successful career.
